The possibility of using materials capable of swelling with water, contained in extrudable cartridges, has recently expanded the usual application spaces in the field of waterproofing. Holes, cavities, slits, connections, tube passages, formwork spacers, represent the current ambit of the Azichem range of hydro-expansive sealants.
SYNTECH STOPAQ is a permanently plastic, moderately expansive paste sealant, also applicable in the presence of water, easily removable and repositionable, specific for waterproofing of cable conduits.
Syntech StopAQ
Single-component, permanently plastic, slightly expansive sealing paste (+10% by volume on contact with water) for waterproofing cable ducts in masonry structures through which one or more cables and/or service pipes pass. It is extruded around the passing cables using a dedicated 533 cc or 600 cc dispensing gun (see the PISTOLE Extruders for Cartridges technical data sheet), and subsequently covered and confined with a suitable thixotropic mortar from the REPAR or OSMOCEM range.
